- Before starting the activation process, make sure that you have downloaded the Field Pro app. If you do not have an account set up, you’ll need to create one the first time you launch the app.
- Every next-gen standby generator comes with a cellular radio module that must be installed prior to activation.
- Once that’s done, you’ll use the Field Pro app to connect your smartphone or tablet to the generator’s controller.
- From there, the app will guide you through the process of configuring and activating the generator.
