Generac POWERPERKS: Sign-Up and How to Use It

POWERPERKS is Generac's rewards program for contractors who sell and install generators. You earn points for every dollar spent on qualifying Generac products purchased through Better Power, Inc., and those points can be redeemed for rewards. It's free to join, and enrollment takes just a few minutes. Here's what it covers and how to start earning.

What Qualifies

Points are earned on qualifying purchases in two main categories:

  • Residential standby: home standby generators, automatic transfer switches, and HSB extended warranties.

  • Commercial & outdoor power: inverters and portable generators, Generac Mobile generators and light towers, and Generac CHORE & PRO power equipment.

Note: purchases must come through a Generac distributor to qualify. Shipping and tax are excluded from point calculations, and orders of 5 or more of the same SKU are treated as a commercial job and may not qualify under standard terms.

How to Sign Up

  1. Go to www.generacpowerperks.com.

  2. Create a free account using your business information.

  3. Once registered, log in to access your dashboard, where you'll submit claims and track your points balance.

There's no cost to enroll, and any employee who makes qualifying purchases can sign up individually.

How to Submit a Claim

  1. After purchasing a qualifying product from Better Power, Inc., log in to your POWERPERKS account.

  2. Enter the product's category, model number, serial number, and distributor invoice details.

  3. Generac reviews claims at the end of each month.

  4. Once approved, points are added directly to your account balance.

A Few Things to Know

  • Approval of claims is at Generac's discretion, and the program isn't combinable with other Generac-sponsored promotions.

  • Accounts with no activity for 6 months are subject to deactivation, so it's worth submitting claims as you go rather than batching them up.

  • Generac can change or end the program at any time without notice, so treat current terms as subject to change.
