Recently, our company was made aware that Ron Weber, our Generac representative and Regional Development Manager, was laid off as part of broader cost-cutting measures at Generac—decisions that appear to be driven by financial pressures stemming from tariffs and related economic uncertainty.

While we understand the challenges Generac may be facing, the decision to eliminate Ron’s position is sure to negatively impact our business.

Ron was more than just a corporate liaison. He was an advocate for our businesses, a true partner in our growth, and someone who consistently went above and beyond to help distributors succeed. His absence is already being felt in our daily operations, where his experience, responsiveness, and genuine care made a measurable difference.

We are organizing a petition to formally request Generac’s leadership to reconsider this decision and reinstate Ron Weber. Our collective voice, representing the wholesale distribution partners that drive Generac’s market success, can send a powerful message.
