Shipping Address Requirements

-- Please supply a shipping address to a loading dock:  yours, your contractor’s, your rigging company’s, or that of a helpful local business.

-- Unloading, rigging, storage, and installation are not included.

-- You will need to supply a fork lift truck to unload the Generator.  Generators of 60kW and above will also require fork extensions.

-- The included prepaid standard shipping is in an enclosed truck, such as a tractor trailer or box truck.  Generators of 20kW or more are loaded lengthwise and must be forked from the end.  For instance, a typical crated natural-gas 35kW is about 7 feet long and 1200 pounds, and a 150kW is about 10 feet long and 2600 pounds.  Air-cooled Generators of 16kW and below are on a 2ft x 4ft pallet and are forked from the side.

-- If you want to lift the Generator with your equipment, you will need straps and a spreader bar.

-- Delivery by open flatbed truck is available at extra cost, typically $1,000-$2,000 (request a quote).  You would need to supply equipment, straps, and a spreader bar to lift the Generator.  “Flatbed delivery” must be requested when you place your order, and is subject to factory approval.

-- For 25kW and smaller Generators, of the standard “QT Series” Generators or air-cooled Generators only, delivery to the pavement with a hydraulic lift gate can often be arranged at no extra charge, subject to factory approval.  “Liftgate service” must be requested when you place your order, and the delivery area must be accessible by 53ft tractor trailer.
